Currently Spida only allows for single phase poletop extension modeling, but there are materials available on the market, such as the attach Pupi Poletop Extensions, that can be used to model different phase configurations. The addition of the ability to accurately model the pole in SpidaCALC would benefit utilities using such materials. Internal utility calculations would need to be completed to find maximum span limits based on conductor size, ruling span, swing, etc.. The ability to model the material would be extremely helpful.

Pupi offers 3 sizes of these extensions that can be field fitted to whatever framing configuration is needed.

Similarly, alley arms do not have a modeling capability in SpidaCALC. These materials do not need analysis results, but the modeling capability would be appreciated.
